On Friday 11th April the Club’s Sue Barker annual memorial concert this year features one of her favourite artistes, an exceptional performer.
A recipient of top prizes at many international piano competitions, established virtuoso pianist Andrew Wilde has received rave reviews in the UK, Europe and the US. His 2023 recital for the Club, music by Mozart, Beethoven and Chopin, was one of the most electrifying events we had ever put on, producing a rapturous response from the large audience, many of whom could scarcely believe they had experienced a performance of that intensity here in Frodsham. April’s event will be a high point of the Club’s current concert season, to which visitors are welcome for an admission fee of £10.
