A Message from your Chair

Our choice of Panto for January 2027 is 'Sleeping Beauty'.

The traditional storyline is reflected in this wonderful script by Ben Crocker. Baby Aurora is cursed by wicked Maleficent and on her 18th birthday pricks her finger on a spinning wheel, falling into a sleep for one hundred years!. Only a true Prince's kiss can awaken her from her slumber.

But unlike the original story, this Production has singing rats loose in the kitchen causing chaos, nightmares in Dreamland and the added hilarity of the central comic trio, Queen Dottie (the Dame), King Nobby and Billy the Butler as well as antics from the Palace cat 'Kitty'. But the forces of darkness are not to be outdone – and the uber competitive Maleficent and her similarly competitive cats, Spindle and Shanks are also hilarious.

If you want to kick off your New Year with a bang, our first show is on the 3rd January 2027 and run until the 9th January. Tickets are on sale 1st November 2026.
